Naina Devi Temple is the most famous and sacred place in Nainital, Uttarakhand. This temple is also popular among the Hindus as Shakti Peeth. Naina Devi temple was almost destroyed in the devastating landslide of 1980 but was reconstructed later. We were lucky to witness the famous festival on the occasion of Nanda Ashtami which lasts for 8 days every year. Here is a short photo journey of the festival in September 2016-
