Jaipur- Must Visit Place

Jaipur is located in the northern part of India and the capital of Rajasthan. It is famous for its forts and palaces, also if you are a sweet lover, this city has to offer some of the best in India.
3 days and 2 nights stay is more than enough for this city, until one wants to burn their pocket doing shopping.
Where to Visit.
1. Market.
2. City Palace.
3. Hawa Mahal.
The market has nothing much to offer if you are from India. Things are over priced and they are easily available in your own city market in less price. If you to bargain with the local shopkeepers of Jaipur trust me they can easily differentiate between a local and a tourist. One thing is good about the market is that there is no illegal construction in front of the shops as we see in Delhi or other cities also every shop has the same construction and the colour is pink.
The problem I saw is that every transport vehicle owner will watch you like a eagle and offer you a ride which is very irritating, it's very tough to walk in the market when every rikshaw puller and Auto driver ask you the same question.

City Palace
This is a must visit, the palace was partially converted into museum. Inside the palace museum you can see the royal "Darbar" of Maharaja, currency used in that era also with the paintings of kings who had ruled Jaipur. The architecture is mix of both Hindu and Mugal art, City Palace is in middle of Jaipur and you can reach there by auto, parking for private cars could be little un easy. Photography is not allowed inside the museum only outside photography is allowed.
If you have money then some part of the palace can be rented for private parties.

Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and the design was taken from Lord Krishna crown by Lal Chand Ustad. The structure has more then 900 windows or Jarokhas which was design in such a manner that air will flow 24/7 and is a perfect example of ancient cross-ventilation. The Mahal has one courtyard which is not very big and stairs are very narrow only one person can use it at one time. Be careful while coming up or down you may have to turn back because of narrow passages. From the top one can have a good view of Jaipur city and the hills around. We found the surrounding areas very dirty the second exit gate was so filthy that we have to cover our nose. Also due to small narrow places one may find the place very cramped up with tourist, but still I recommend for one time visit.
