Wagah Border

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
It was always a dream to witness the flag lowering ceremony at Wagah Border. So when we had the long weekend of the year end 2017, it was time to execute a road trip to Amritsar. My paramount objective was to visit Wagah Border.

We got our passes through a known source. One needs to go at least 2 hours before the actual time because the crowd on our side is massive. We reached there just 2 minutes before the main ceremony and I was lucky to get a vantage point for photography. The whole ceremony was mesmerizing. For the first time I saw our neighbors in Pakistan and realized they are like us. Trust me I did not feel anything like "Hostile". They seemed friendly and everyone was waving hands across the border.

One thing which I don't like at all is that the people who were shouting on the top of their voice "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" left the place littered. Is this the way we give respect to our Nation and BFS? I request everyone not to litter and dispose the garbage
